Jacuzzi hot tub covers provide users with a
means to properly secure and seal hot tubs from inclement weather, for safety reasons and various forms of
damage.

The standard jacuzzi cover cores are made of polystyrene form 4" down
to 2.5," tapered to allow water to run off. Most of these covers are grooved and fitted with a
galvanized steel channel for support along the hinge. The entire form core is sealed with polyethylene
sheeting to prevent water absorption.
Heavy duty jacuzzi covers, with the same 4" down to 2.5" tapering
are designed to support over 200 lbs. This is a great feature for areas with heavy snow, large pets or
kids. Most hot tub cover skins are made of premium, marine grade
vinyl, treated to resist mildew and 1500 hrs. rating for ultraviolet rays. The spa cover liner backing is
also mildew and chemical resistant. Many jacuzzi hot tub covers also have a variety of
options available such as four, usually 7 inches, locking tie down straps as well as a perimeter skirt to
seal and protect the spa lip area. Jacuzzi spa covers are also equipped
with added features to ensure durability and strength such as two triple-stitched, double-riveted handles
for easy portability and storage. Drain grommets are also
provided to allow water to escape from inside the skin cover. Additionally, usually four, heat seal
and vinyl protecting skid pads are incorporated to further protect the cover and minimize heat
loss.
Today one can buy jacuzzi hot
tub covers in a wide variety of wonderful colors such as sky blue, teal, dark redwood, light redwood,
green and almond, just to name a few.
